Inspired by American author Herman Melville's classic Moby Dick, Canadian design maverick (truly one to watch) Philip Sparks unofficially kicked off Toronto Fashion Week last week with some help from Hamilton Watches. With each model wearing a distinct timepiece to match each runway outfit from the Fall-Winter 2010 collection, the watches enjoyed as much promotion as the clothing did. Hamilton sponsored both the Montreal and Toronto shows, citing the "similar aesthetic and consumer demographic and appeal of each brand." Standouts from the collection featured checked cotton dress shirts, and tweed coordinates.
